What a great idea, Daisy! I grew up with animals as well including ants, mice, snakes, dogs, cats, birds, monkeys... I do not "have" an animal, but I get visited by our alleycat Sgt. Fang, the neighborhood dogs, whitewing doves (who all demand getting cuddled and fed - or the other way around)... It will be fun exchanging thoughts with other animal fans!

Welcome to Roswell Pets, KiraSonne! I think this is a great idea, too, but it wasn't mine. I'm helping the owner of the site - we hope it will be a good place for pet owners and lovers to communicate about all the animals in their lives.

In addition to our two dogs, we also feed the squirrels, hummingbirds and all other birds in our yard. I love to sit out on the deck and watch all the wildlife. Although I've heard stories of squirrels getting into houses and cars and chewing wires, we've only had it happen once and not much damage was done. Gotta watch out for that kind of thing with the squirrels!
